LOL. I honestly did not know that people associated polka dots with the 1960’s. Those outfits look very fifties to me! I have posted many photos from Brazilian fashion magazines but perhaps street fashion in 60’s Brazil was a bit behind the times? The 60’s was a very broad decade fashion wise but mod would definitely be the easiest way to look dead on sixties. So many movements happened & fashion changed so rapidly compared to the decades before. We went from circle skirts to mini skirts to bell bottoms. Which is why the 1960’s is probably the most poorly represented decades. If you google image search “60’s costumes” and then “70’s costumes” you get almost identical results.
This, depresses me.
